Our world today is faced with unprecedented challenges and threats to global development that require a collective and higher level of international cooperation that leaves no one behind, especially the kingdoms/monarchies which are prestigious permanent institutions.

Monarchs play a unifying role among many people across the world and are thus for a long time been looked at as a bonding factor in the socio-economic development of Nations. For many years, the Monarchies in various parts of the World have stood above the partisanship of politics and have created an enduring bond and love among the people they lead.

.

Monarchs have separately in their various locations across the globe been among the few things that hold people together amidst wars, multi-ethnicity, and poverty among others, and thus established stable societies upon which development has been spurred.

Across the World, Monarchies are repositories of tradition and continuity in ever changing and evolving times. Their role in representing and preserving the historical and traditional roots of many societies has not been superbly taken over by any superstructure. Therefore, Monarchies have become an enduring edifice at a time in the world when many ancient certainties seem to have been bewildered.

Therefore, for many people, Monarchies have been the bedrock of more positive elements of society like; service, duty, togetherness, development, cultural cohesion and these values have for long underpinned civilization and development.

It is, therefore, worth noting that Monarchs have undertaken all the above and many more good things and responsibilities in a separated manner. Monarchs from the various parts of the world have up to now never had an opportunity to get together to share such experiences and jointly voice up and guide international cooperation, sustainable peace and development.

The opportunity and time is now. It is now and timely that as the world is facing numerous challenges not limited to poverty, the burden of disease, youth unemployment, underdevelopment, that World Monarchs come together and put efforts towards providing not only support but other ideas from the Royal background that would make the world better today, tomorrow and the future.
